My dog is eating the cat litter ! KITTY-ROCA as we call it.?

What can I do to prevent this bad habit ?|||I haven't met a dog yet that can resist cat poop.





Best bet is to find a place high enough that the dog can't get to it but the cat can.|||Kitty Roca is just food to your dog. Dogs are scavengers as well as predators. If it might be food, they will eat it now, as they can always barf it up later.





Try putting the catbox in a place the dog can't get to it. Maybe a room with a hook on the door propping it open just far enough for the cat to get through? but not the dog?





Or a baby gate the cats can jump but the dog can't?





Or a covered catbox inside a bigger box that allows the cat access but stops the dog?|||If you go to a local pet shop like petsmart or petco, they have a spray called bitter apple. It's about 12 oz and its around 5-8 bucks. Spray on top of the litter. We had the same problem, it's non toxic and not harmful to animals. Just make sure you wash your hands after you spray. It's really nasty stuff! But it works!|||Keep the litter box someplace where the dog cannot get to it.|||go aaaa like really loud sharp voice, and make sure u clam the area and that u are domiant
