Is Wilson Art classic laminate floor good quality? Should I pay extra for the more sound absorbing pad?

Do you think Luna Roca would look good with cherry cabinets and white corian counter tops? Or is it too busy? Verde fossil is a possibility too, but darker. I do not want a formal look. I cannot get a wood look because the rest of that floor is dark wood. I also have blue accents in room.|||Yes, Wilson Art is a fine product. It sounds like you are looking at samples of laminate that give the look of "tile". Luna Roca has some grey in it - try and bring the sample home first.

Before you decide, have you looked at the others yet, ex: Quick Step, Mohawk, Bruce or Pergo - they all have "tile look" laminate.

Is their a reason why you want a "tile Look" and not real ceramic tile?

Regarding the underlayment, you did not mention the size of the room, if the room you are installing laminate in is small save the money, if the room is large - the furniture in the room will absorb some noise, stay with the basic underlayment.

If you need sound absorbing for condo rules, find out first what they require, ex: cork.

Good Luck.
